First things first, Riot Games’ Valorant producer Laura Baltzer highlighted some of the creative thinking behind the Battle Pass’ design in a press release sent to Twinfinite:
“We wanted to create skinlines that appealed to a wide variety of players with this Battlepass. Players who’ve been with us since launch may recognize a new take on an old favorite with the .SYS line. This line has a Vandal, Bucky, Sheriff, Stinger, as well as a Melee. Our variant skinline for this pass is the Coalition: Cobra which has a more grounded look and feel. Finally, Hue Shift is for players who can’t decide between having a pink or blue weapon equipped ;)”
As usual, the Battle Pass will cost 1,000 VP and feature both free and paid tiers, with each reward spread across weapon skins, gun buddies, player cards, sprays, and Radianite points (to upgrade premium skins).

Is Valorant Episode 4, Act 3 Battle Pass Worth it?
Ultimately, whether you think this latest Valorant BP is worth purchasing will be according to your individual taste, but if you ask us, it’s a pretty strong showing. The .SYS skin line, in particular, is very snazzy and wouldn’t look out of place as a standalone, cheaper premium skin advertised on the store. The melee Axe is a design we’ve seen before, but again, it looks cool in the .SYS aesthetic. The other two skin lines are also neat in their own right, and the various player cards featured in the pass are also solid. Obviously, for those who aren’t certain they’ll be playing a lot of Valorant over the next two months then it’s probably not worth your money. After all, it takes quite a few hours of gameplay to unlock all the tiers, and if you’re after the melee weapon (which is usually one of the final tiers), you’ll need to put in a fair bit of gameplay to get it. Still, you can always accelerate the process by making sure you’re ticking off daily and weekly challenges whenever they pop up.
